What is a Project Task
Considering Project as a whole, a Project Task is a piece of work allocated to a user or a group that should be accomplished within defined period of time.
Creating Project Tasks Manually
You can create a Project Task from within the Projects module.
Steps to create a Project Task
- Click Projects tab
- Select the Project record you desired to create Project task for
- In detail view of Projects record, click Project Tasks tab
- Click Add Project Task
- In the create Project Task view, fill in the project task details
- Click Save
Managing Project Tasks

Fields Information

| Project task Name | Provide name of the project task. This field is mandatory. |

Associating Projects with Other Records
This will display all-round view of relations of Project tasks module with other modules and maintains log of complete history.
You can keep track of following details in Project Tasks module
| Comments | To view all the comments exchanged across different users |
| Updates | Displays history of actions performed on Project Task record |
| Documents | Notes added to Project Task record will be displayed as Documents. |
Note
The Charts in the Projects module are displayed basing upon the Progress field in Project Tasks module.
